Fennedine

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fennedine is a rare East Frisian female given name derived from the root of the name Fenne or Fentje (a nickname of names that begin with the syllable "fried-"). In an older form, the name also occurs as Fentjedina . The second part of the name "Dine" is a self-creation for the purpose of transforming it into a female name, as it often occurs in East Frisian names (Ayeltdine - female to Ayelt; Tjardine - female to Tjard and many more).
