Fer Corb ( "Wagenmann" ), son of Mug Corb , was a high king of Ireland according to medieval Irish legends . He gained power after killing his predecessor, Irereo , who also murdered his father, in Ulster . He ruled for eleven years until he was killed by Irereo's son Connla Cáem . According to the Lebor Gabála Érenn , his rule fell at the same time as that of Ptolemy IV (221-205 BC). Geoffrey Keating's chronicle Foras feasa ar Éirinn dates his reign to the period from 330–319 BC. The annals of the four masters give a reign of 474-463 BC. Chr.
