Feria de Tristán Narvaja

The Feria de Tristán Narvaja is a traditional flea market in the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo .

It takes place there every Sunday in the center of the Cordón district. There, named after a lawyer from the 19th century extends Avenida Tristán Narvaja from Avenida 18 de Julio to La Paz . The various street vendors can be found between the bookstores and second-hand bookshops located there from early Sunday morning until late in the afternoon. This market took place for the first time on October 3rd, 1909 in what was then still called Yaro .
