Festive polonaise

The Fest-Polonaise is a composition by Johann Strauss Sohn (op. 352). It was performed for the first time on September 15, 1871 in the Vienna Volksgarten under the direction of Eduard Strauss .

Remarks

This was after the Polonaise in 1871 French German War written and the founding of the German Empire and the new German Emperor Wilhelm I paid. That is why the work was now called Kaiser Wilhelm Polonaise . The work was very demanding and was rarely played afterwards.
