Field Information Agency, Technical (FIAT) was one of the Allied institutions that determined the state of development of German research and development in natural sciences and technology towards the end of the Second World War and afterwards and published several series by 1948. Some of these publications have the series title FIAT Reports , FIAT Reviews or Field Information Agency, Technical Reports .

The edition of the FIAT Review of German Science intended for Germany is known as FIAT reports and was published under license no. 20 of the military government's news control as a multi-volume series: Naturforschung und Medizin in Deutschland 1939–1946. Wiesbaden: Dieterich'sche publishing bookstore.

For example, Volume 15, Electron Emission, Electron Movement, and High Frequency Technology , was published in December 1948 . Part I was edited by Georg Goubau and Jonathan Zenneck . The latter continued the publication alone from 1947 after Goubau was requested by the USA in the course of Operation Paperclip .
