FightMalaria @ Home is a distributed computing project at the UCD Complex and Adaptive Systems Laboratory (CASL) at University College Dublin . The aim of the project is to search for new drugs to treat malaria . Here are docking simulations calculated from malaria proteins. The project was officially started in July 2012. The basis of the calculations is the BOINC software from the University of California, Berkeley . The computing power of the project is currently around 15.8 TeraFLOPS (as of February 2015).
