Finsch coast

Finsch coast is the former name for the westernmost coast of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Land in German New Guinea . Geographically, it lies in the central northern section of New Guinea between Humboldt Bay and the mouth of the Sepik (the former Empress Augusta River ). It was named after the explorer Otto Finsch .
