Finsen unit

The Finsen unit ( unit symbol : FE ), named after the Danish doctor Niels Ryberg Finsen , was a unit that was used in medicine to measure the radiation intensity of UV light . UV radiation with a wavelength λ of 296.7 nm and an irradiance E of 10 −5 W / m² corresponds to one Finsen unit.
