The Firestreak was an air-to-air missile the time of the Cold War, from British production. The development was started by Fairey Aviation and later continued by de Havilland . Mainly were BAC Lightning - interceptor of the Royal Air Force armed with her. The rocket was in service from 1958 to 1988. As early as 1964, it was replaced by the Hawker Siddeley Red Top.
