Fischland jewelry

Fischland jewelry works are jewelry and handicraft items that the Georg Kramer jun. Produced from around 1932, which Walter Kramer ran in Ribnitz until 1947/1948 and in Travemünde after his escape . A Ribnitz amber gallery has held the trademark rights since 2009.

The Fischland jewelery is characterized by the use of one or more natural ambers and their handcrafted silver surround with partially plastic and filigree applied maritime motifs such as fish, starfish, anchors or sailing ships. The collection included rings, bracelets, necklaces, brooches, as well as spoons, serving forks, cake servers , and napkin rings. The applications were manually soldered on, in contrast to the products of the Baltic Sea jewelry , which were usually only cast as a whole. The work of the Kramer-Manufaktur differs from the mass production of the GDR operations of the Baltic Sea jewelry by the high quality processing.
