Fitness room is an umbrella term for various types of fitness, training or sports rooms that are set up for private use at home. Other synonyms are home studio , Homegym or weight room .

Depending on the facility, a fitness room is suitable for bodyweight training , fitness training , strength training , endurance training , but also for Pilates or yoga .

Terminology

The word Homegym comes from English and is made up of the two words Home and Gym ( fitness studio ). Both the compound spelling (Homegym) and the separate spelling (Home Gym) are common.

Furnishing

The equipment of a fitness room depends largely on how the owner wants to design his training room. For example, it can contain:
