Fixed first visit
Fixed first visits are all complaints that were successfully resolved during the first workshop visit.
Fixed First Visit (FFV) is used as a measure to indicate workshop quality. FFV is increasingly used in the automotive industry. It is known from Daimler that the workshops are classified on the basis of FFV.
With an FFV rate of 100%, every vehicle could be sustainably repaired at the first attempt. If 4 out of 5 vehicles could be repaired right away, the FFV rate is 80%
Customers will look for a workshop with a good FFV rate. This workshop will solve the problem of a vehicle faster than any other workshop.
A FFV measurement can be carried out in different ways:
- Through a customer survey using a questionnaire (was your vehicle repaired correctly right away?)
- Through a mathematical-statistical consideration of the repairs. (If the same repair was carried out twice within a year for the same damage, this results in a repeat repair)
