Flag of Dagestan
The flag of Dagestan is the official flag of the Republic of Dagestan . It was officially established by law on February 26, 1994 . There were various flags for Dagestan during the Soviet era.
The flag has a ratio of 2: 3 and consists of three horizontal stripes of equal size. The stripes are green, blue and red. Green symbolizes the Islamic religion prevailing in Dagestan.
