Flame tube

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A flame tube as part of a furnace or an internal combustion engine is a tube in which an aerosol or gas burns, in contrast to a smoke tube , which only discharges exhaust gases.

Such a pipe can be found, for example, as a Y-pipe in the exhaust system of a motor vehicle, as a component of heat exchangers in steam boilers , especially in flame tube cylinders, flame tube tubes, flame tube cases and flame tube smoke tube boilers , and as a component of oil burners in Oil boilers .
