A fly hood is a mask or hood for horses to protect against flies , as the eyes of some horses are sensitive to flies. This is why horse owners use these so-called fly hoods. Despite this measure, horses can see and are hardly affected. In addition, a fly veil can also offer protection against harmful UV light . Some models also cover the ears while others leave them free.
