Flogsta
Flogsta is a district in the west of the Swedish city of Uppsala . It belongs to the district of Flogsta-Ekeby.
The residential area is about four kilometers west of the city center and is connected to the rest of the city by bus routes and a number of cycle paths.
A large part of the buildings are made up of multi-storey apartment blocks. Students from Uppsala University or SLU also make up the majority of Flogsta's population.
In the student dormitories on Sernanders Väg, it has been a tradition since the 1970s or 1980s to shout out of the windows at 10 p.m. every day. Recordings of it became popular on YouTube .
