The Aeródromo de La Morgal is located in the municipality of Santiago del Monte in the Asturias region in northwestern Spain .
Due to its size, the airfield was designed for sport and smaller touring aircraft. Since the new construction of the kart sports facility, the runway that is exactly at the end of runway start direction 28 can only be used to a limited extent. At the moment there is only flight operations with microlights and helicopters . A complete closure is currently being discussed.
