Flybot

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Remote- controlled, mostly small aircraft for predominantly military use are referred to as flybots ( English to fly for to fly or fly fly, bot abbreviated for robot robot). Prototype developments are known from the Air Force Research Laboratory of the US Air Force and Harvard University ; reconnaissance and the transport of explosive charges are discussed as possible uses . In order to camouflage flybots, work is being carried out on designs that are similar in shape, size and flight behavior to insects and hummingbirds .
