Food Addicts In Recovery Anonymous
Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) or Anonymous Esssüchtige in recovery is a support group for people who overeat, are bulimic or anorexic, have problems with their weight or suffer from other constraints associated with food and / or weight in the context ( Eating disorders ).
The association has adopted the recovery concept of the 12-step group Alcoholics Anonymous and its 12 steps and 12 traditions and applies it to the problem of addiction around food and weight.
FA was founded on May 31, 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, there are also meetings in Germany.
