Forgotten Tales is a Canadian power metal band from Quebec .
history
Forgotten Tales was founded in Quebec in October 1999 as a result of a music project by Rene Pineault. First she covered European power metal songs and since there were very few bands of this genre in Canada, they had many concert goers. Two concerts as opening act for Nightwish motivated the band to produce an album with their own songs, which was released in October 2001 under the title The Promise . Further support appearances for bands like Edguy and Gamma Ray followed and in August 2004 the release of the second album All the Sinners . In 2006 they played a few shows with Sonata Arctica and in 2007 at "Quebec's Summer Festival". In 2010 the third album We shall see the light was released.
