Forest service farm in Alt-Süssendell
The Alt-Süssendell forest service farm is located in the Süssendell forest near Mausbach , a district of Stolberg (Rhld.) In the Aachen region of North Rhine-Westphalia .
The property was built in the middle of the forest in 1829. It is one of the oldest Prussian forest farms in the Rhineland . The auxiliary forester's homestead was built according to a type plan of the building administration. In 1878 the barn, the stable, the wash house and the bakery were added.
The forest service building is a testimony to the working and living conditions of forest workers in the first half of the 19th century. For this reason it was / 171/14/01 under No. - / 340 on 28 September 1984 by the city of Stolberg below. Monument asked.
