Forte Records was an internationally successful German independent label based in Cologne . The label was founded in 1998 by the German musician and producer Christian Morgenstern after parting with his previous label, Kanzleramt Records . In the five years of its existence, catalog numbers 1 to 28 were published with music productions, multimedia projects and films. With the untimely death of Christian Morgenstern the work of the label was stopped in summer 2003.
