Forum Classicum is a magazine for Latin and Greek in schools and universities . It is the organ of the German Classical Philology Association (DAV).

The magazine is published quarterly by CC Buchner Verlag , Bamberg. Forum Classicum is the magazine with the highest circulation for teachers and friends of ancient languages. The magazine is published by the chairman of the DAV, currently Hartmut Loos. Andreas Fritsch is the editor .

The predecessor of the Forum Classicum was the newsletter of the German Association of Classical Philology. The first issue of the journal appeared in 1958. The issues up to 1994 are indexed online, the issues since 1994 are available in full text.
