Forum Opéra

Forum Opéra - also known as the Association des amis de l'opéra de Lausanne (AAOL) - is a Swiss opera association that promotes opera and bel canto in western Switzerland .

Forum Opéra is based on Swiss law in accordance with Article 60 ff. Of the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB) of 10 December 1907.

The first steps were taken on August 17, 1987. The internal processes are regulated by its founder, the Swiss lawyer Georges Raymond. The association is supported by the French-Swiss mezzo-soprano Renée Auphan and the Swiss tenor Éric Tappy.

Further goals include supporting and promoting opera in French-speaking Switzerland and especially in Lausanne .
