Frühmesserhaus (Pfaffenhausen)
The former Frühmesserhaus in Pfaffenhausen on the corner of Kirchplatz and Markgrafenstraße, in the Unterallgäu district , Bavaria , was built in 1730 and is a listed building. The building was structurally changed around 1800. It is designed as a two-storey gable roof building with classicistic stucco decor. A strip cornice runs above the ground floor. The windows on the upper floor and the windows in the area have a profile frame with a meander above the lintel and a straight roof.
The east gable of the Frühmesserhaus is divided into three floors by strip cornices. In the top the eye of God can be seen in a ray glory . On the west side of the south long side there is a diamond-shaped and doubled door. This is flanked by Tuscan pilaster strips with a profiled fighter . Above the door there is a three-lobed curved skylight. In front of it there is a classical wrought iron grille. On the ground floor there is a room, now divided into two, with a total of three groin vaults . The corridor on the upper floor has a mirrored ceiling with profiles enclosed in its cove . Paneled doors with Rococo fittings, door handles and lock plates lead into the rooms on the upper floor . The corner room with a mirrored ceiling on the south side used to contain stucco decor that has since been removed.
