Francesco Rivera
Francesco Rivera is an Italian road cyclist.
Francesco Rivera finished third at Chrono Champenois in 2002 . In the 2004 season he was Italian champion in the individual time trial of the U23 class. In 2006 he finished second in each of the one-day races Isola Vicentina and Firenze-Modena.
In 2006, Rivera was suspended for one year for doping . As early as 2005 he had abnormal blood values and he was therefore given a 45-day ban .
In 2008 Rivera took third place at the Trofeo Internazionale Bastianelli . From the 2009 season, Rivera will compete for the Italian Professional Continental Team Knauf-Endeka .
