Francis O'Brien

Francis O'Brien (born April 7, 1943 ) is an Irish politician ( Fianna Fáil ) and farmer.

O'Brien attended Drumfeehan National School in County Monaghan . He was a member of Monaghan County Council from 1979 to 2003 and served as its chairman from 1986 to 1987. Since 1989 he has been Senator for Fianna Fáil in the Seanad Éireann .

O'Brien is married with four children, three sons and one daughter.
