Magariños Cervantes was a representative of the Department of Soriano in the 11th legislative period from March 26, 1873 to February 14, 1876 as a deputy member of the Cámara de Representantes . In the 12th legislative period he then held a titular mandate for Soriano from February 15, 1876 to March 9, 1876.
