Frank Barbian is a German cameraman .
Life
Frank Barbian is the son of the Saarland press photographer Walter Barbian (1919–2005). His father started his interest in photography. He studied at the Offenbach am Main University of Design until 1992 and has lived in Paris as a freelance cameraman since 1993. In addition to the shooting of documentaries, commercials and short films, Barbian was also responsible for the camera of movies like Kurz und painless and Führer Ex . At the same time, he also teaches at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and at the École des Gobelins in Paris.
