The Frankfurt Airport Center ( FAC ) is an office complex with 48,000 square meters of lettable space in the Frankfurt Airport City of Frankfurt Airport . It was built in 1986 and put into operation in 1988 and at that time was the first freely accessible office building outside the airport's premises. The FAC has a length of 140 and a width of 75 meters, its height is 36 meters. It has been owned by UBS Real Estate Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH since October 2012 .

construction

Thanks to a heritable building right from the property owner Fraport AG, Siemens KG was able to build the Frankfurt Airport Center opposite Terminal 1 of Frankfurt Airport. As the first office building outside of the company's premises, the Frankfurt Airport Center laid the anticipated foundation stone for the future airport city. The FAC is divided into four complexes (A, B, C, D) on 9 floors, on which the 48,000 m² rentable office space is distributed.

Trivia

In addition to various television productions such as RTL breakfast television , the FAC was the seat of the official organizing committee for the soccer World Cup in Germany until 2006.
