The Katholische Frauenzeitung was a monthly women's magazine that was published between 1926 and 1938 by the Catholic women's organization for the Archdiocese of Vienna .

The Katholische Frauenzeitung was founded in 1926 under the title Frauen-Liefe . From November 1935, the magazine was published under the title Österreichische Frauenzeitung and appeared with the addition of the extended series of women's letters , with the additional title disappearing with the July 1936 issue. The magazine usually had 16 pages and was published in 4 ° format. With the January edition of 1937 there was a new title change and the Österreichische Frauenzeitung subsequently appeared as the Katholische Frauenzeitung . The last edition of the Katholisches Frauenzeitung appeared in March 1938. After the women's organization in Austria was dissolved in 1938 after the National Socialists came to power, the Katholische Frauenzeitung also ended.

In terms of content, the Katholische Frauenzeitung and its predecessor titles, in addition to internal communication, were mainly devoted to church and women's political issues. The magazine was also devoted to the areas of home economics and health. She also published film and book reviews, various guides, and published sequel stories.
