Free teaching facility

As a free educational institutions educational institutions are called, which is not according to their teaching objects, teaching objectives and how they are organized as schools apply.

The establishment of independent teaching facilities is regulated in Germany by state laws. Free education institutions are prohibited, for example, lead labels or certificates to be issued which could lead to confusion with public schools or independent schools. This is monitored by the responsible school authority . If independent teaching establishments deal with teaching content from the public school system and are run for a profit, this must be approved by the school authorities before teaching begins.

Examples of independent teaching facilities are ballet , karate and judo schools as well as language schools, further education institutes or tutoring facilities.
