The open-air museum Peppingen in Roeser , district Peppingen ( Luxembourg ) is a village museum and shows in a large farm from 1840 and a wealth of details from rural life over the centuries.
Exhibition space
The peasant and handicraft museum ( lux . : Baueremusée zu Peppeng) shows the following:

The Carriage Museum ( lux . : Carriage Museum zu Peppeng) Musée de Calèches Grande-Duchesse Charlotte is located 200 m from the farmer's craft museum and shows over 20 horse carriages, including six vehicles from the Grand Ducal Court. In addition, you can see numerous accessories such as horse harness , travel suitcases and utensils, a complete carriage workshop and an illustrated exhibition on the historical development of carriage construction.
history
The open-air museum has existed since 1999 and is housed in an old farm from the 1840s. The building was called "Haff an Iewescht Meesch" and has been a listed building since 1989 . The organization of the museum is currently the responsibility of the couple Norbert and Maud Quintus.
