Peace of Arras (1414)

The Peace of Arras (1414) was signed on September 4, 1414 between the Bourguignons , headed by the Burgundian Duke John Fearless , and the Armagnacs to end their armed conflicts. He reaffirmed for both sides the observance of the provisions of the Chartres Peace of 1409. However, the new treaty only brought about a temporary calming of the situation in the civil war of the Armagnacs and Bourguignons .
