Fritz Bergmann (politician)

Fritz Bergmann (born January 17, 1929 in Essen ) is a German SPD politician .

education and profession

Fritz Bergmann graduated from high school in 1949. He took a degree in law and economics; the first state examination took place in 1955. In 1958 he received his doctorate. rer. pole. From 1959 to 1966 he worked as a management consultant and audit manager for a trust company. From 1966 he was an association treasurer and since 1974 management spokesman for the Ruhrverband and Ruhrtalsperren-Verein.

Fritz Bergmann has been a member of the SPD since 1959. He had been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state board since 1979 and the first chairman of the Dortmund-Hörde district since 1974.

In 1966 he became a member of the public services, transport and traffic union, and he was also a member of the association assembly of the Ruhr coal district settlement association.

From July 26, 1970, Fritz Bergmann was directly elected member of the 7th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 109 Dortmund I. He left the 8th state parliament on January 5, 1976 prematurely.

Honors

Bergmann was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia on May 19, 1994 .
