Frustration

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In computer graphics, frustum is the mathematical representation of a 3D universe on the screen. Frustum is the English word for ' truncated cone '. Frustum of a pyramid means 'truncated pyramid'.

In the vanishing point perspective , each object becomes smaller in depth. One gets the impression that one is looking at the end (the stump) of a cone. In 3D graphics, one also speaks of the visual volume. It is a “truncated pyramid” that represents the volume that can be seen by the viewer.

The so-called frustum matrix shows the 3D world on the two-dimensional screen.
