Foot valve

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A foot valve is a type of pressure valve and has two switching positions. The basic position is created by spring force , the other switch position is done against this by pressing the foot lever. Foot valves are designed as 3/2 or 5/2 valves. They are built into a die-cast housing .

There are two variants of the foot valves within the actuation. In Form F , the valve and the foot lever automatically return to the zero position when released, in Form FP the valve engages after being pressed down, and the return to the zero position is done by pressing the foot lever again.
