The Fuji LM-1 is a light Japanese liaison aircraft from the 1950s. Its first flight took place on June 6, 1955.

construction and development

Fuji Heavy Industries manufactured the Beech T-34 trainer aircraft under license for the Japanese Self-Defense Forces in the early 1950s . 27 LM-1s were produced in 1955 and 1956.

The LM-1 was used by the Japanese Self-Defense Forces for liaison and general tasks. After the LM-1 was retired, several LM-1s came onto the American market and were sold to private users.

  • LM-2: more powerfully motorized version with a 340 PS (254 kW) Lycoming boxer engine - 2 built
