Fujiwara no Mototsune
Fujiwara no Mototsune ( Jap. 藤原基経 * 836 , † 891 ) was a tall Japanese Hofadeliger ( pot belly pig ), which by Fujiwara no Yoshifusa begun tradition of Fujiwara went on the function of a Sesshō to occupy (regent for the underage Japanese Emperor) and thus de facto governing Japan itself.
After the emperor reached adulthood, Mototsune invented the position of kampaku (regent) for himself to continue the power of the Fujiwara through the entire reign of the adult emperor.
