When she realizes that he is not her master and a mysterious woman attacks her, Kiara and Futuba flees with her. When Kiara throws Futuba's cell phone into the river, a portal opens and both enter the world from which Kiara comes.

Now Futuba wants to help Kiara find her master and back into his world. On their journey they meet the rabbit-like magician Belbel, who joins them. Futuba learns that Kiara is an "amaranthine", a being with great powers that can only be used by her master. They later meet Prince Virid Visette Viridian, who has been banished by his older brother and has to find an amaranthine. After a fight, he joins the group.
