The Gökçekaya Dam ( Turkish Gökçekaya Barajı ) is located in Turkey.
It is 43 km north of Alpu in the Eskişehir province and 60 km downstream of the Sarıyar dam on the Sakarya , which finally flows into the Black Sea.
A hydroelectric power station with three turbines was completed on the dam in 1973 , which according to various sources have an output of 278 or 300 MW. Some other technical information is also given differently in different sources (see table). The barrier structure is a concrete arch dam . The height above the valley floor is 115 m, the wall volume is 650,000 m³. The 21 km² reservoir has a storage volume of 910 million m³. The standard energy capacity of the hydropower plant is 562 GWh per year.
