Gönpa
Gönpa (also: Gonpa, Gompa ; Tibetan དགོན་ པ Wylie dgon pa ; Sanskrit : Vihara ) is a type of Buddhist temple in Tibet , Ladakh (India), Nepal and Bhutan . Gönpas are usually part of a Buddhist monastery and usually consist of a central prayer hall with a Buddha statue and benches for prayer as well as adjoining living rooms.
