G10 (WTO)

The G10 is a loose association of several states that was founded in the run-up to the WTO summit in Cancun in 2003 . It now includes eleven countries which together represent 13% of global agricultural imports and have a particular interest in maintaining import tariffs and other measures to protect their own agricultural production. You reject a full liberalization of world trade.

Members

The Switzerland takes over coordination within the group, other members are Liechtenstein , Japan , South Korea , Bulgaria , Taiwan , Iceland , Israel , Norway and Mauritius .
