Briton Ferry Floating Dock and Railway

The Briton Ferry Floating Dock and Railway was a railway company in South Wales .

The company was founded on July 3, 1851 to connect the floating dock built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in Briton Ferry to the railway network.

The railway line connected to the route of the South Wales Railway in Briton Ferry. But when it opened in 1852, the Vale of Neath Railway leased the company.

The Great Western Railway took over the company on July 28, 1873.
