Leonard D. Harris is an American rapper from Chicago , Illinois . He is known under the name GLC ( Gangsta Legendary Crisis ).

Life

youth

As a child, Harris was already into poetry, lyrics and hip-hop . His parents both died early. In his sister's basement he recorded tracks on a Roland VS880 . In his youth he was a member of the Black Gangster Disciple Nation , a street gang that originated in southern Chicago in the 1960s.

Career

In 2004 Harris got a contract with Kanye West 's GOOD Music label . In addition to two productions on West albums, he also released the album World Record Holders as a member of the rap group The Go Getters , consisting of Harris, West and labelmates Really Doe. In addition, from 2003 Harris worked in several productions by z. B. Jay-Z, Mike Posner, Bun B, Kid Cudi & Kydd with.
