In GOsa² is a web-based administration tool that can be managed with the computer and its components, users and user groups. It is based on an LDAP directory structure and is largely written in PHP . GOsa² is free software under the GNU General Public License .
Functions
GOsa² has a modular structure. The various functions can be activated by individually activatable modules or plug-ins .

GOsa² is used by the city of Munich for the administration of the Linux desktop as part of the LiMux project.
The GOsa² project received the “Trophées du Logiciel Libre 2009” award in the “Professional” category.
