Gabriel Boussagol
Gabriel Gaston Boussagol (* around 1880; † after 1962) was a French Romance philologist and Hispanist.
Life
Boussagol passed the Agrégation in Spanish in 1908 . In 1921 he became maître de conférences. In 1926 he completed his habilitation at the Sorbonne with the two Thèses Angel de Saavedra, duc de Rivas. Sa vie. Son œuvre poétique (Toulouse / Paris 1926) and Angel de Saavedra, duc de Rivas. Essai de bibliographie critique (Bordeaux 1926). From 1928 to 1935 he was professor of Spanish at the University of Toulouse . Then he went to the state education administration and was rector of the academies (teaching districts) Clermont-Ferrand (1936-1937), Bordeaux (1938-1941) and Dijon (1941-1943).
