Gaius Iulius Barbarus

Gaius Iulius Barbarus was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .

An inscription that was found at the Aesica castle and which is dated to the 2nd century shows that Barbarus was prefect of the Cohors VI Nerviorum , which was stationed in the province of Britannia at that time .
