Galija
Galija ( Serbian for galley , but also means Gaul ) is a Serbian rock band from Niš .
The group around the brothers Nenad and Predrag "Galija", actually Milosavljević, was founded in 1977 in Niš. Their first album was released in 1979. Since then, the group has been counted among the most important rock scenes in Serbia and Yugoslavia . The group was said to be close to the Milošević government , which is why it became quiet about them after the protests and mass demonstrations on October 5, 2000. Her latest album "Dobro jutro, to sam ja" (Good morning, that's me) was released in 2005, six years after her last album "Južnjačka uteha" (Southern Consolation) in 1999.
