Auger Lake ( Loch at Tarathair )

The Gap of Dunloe ( Irish Bearna an Choimín ) is a narrow mountain pass between the mountain range Macgillycuddy's Reeks in the west and Purple Mountain (Irish An Sliabh Corcra ) in the east in the Dunloe region (Irish Dún Lóich ) in County Kerry in the southwest of the republic Ireland .

The pass has a length of about 11 km from north to south. The river Loe flows north down the pass and feeds five lakes on this route: Black Lough, Auger Lake, Cushnavally Lake, Black Lake and Coosaun Lough. An old arched bridge ( Wishing Bridge ) stretches between the latter two lakes .
